Kenny K - Traditional Christmas Colours

I must apologies for the late posting this week and for not being around much recently, but I am having a patio and conservatory built and at the moment it is like a mud bath outside my back door and also my route to my craft room. The weather we have been having in the Midlands is really holding the builders up and the mess is just unbelievable.

Anyway back to this weeks challenge, fortunately I had made this card a while ago for the Kenny K Traditional Christmas Colours, using Bow (adult) from the latest Kenny K release.  The papers were a freebie with a magazine and the flowers I have had for ever.
Kenny K has also released some new images this week called Kid Nation and they are all boys on skateboards and my gosh you should see what the DT have come up with using these, I can't wait to give them a try when I can get back into my craft room properly

Do pop over to the Kenny K challenege and join in, there are some great prizes up for grabs.

Hope everyone has had a great weekend and haven't been affected to much by the weather.

Kenny K - Monochrome

Time for another fabby Kenny K challenge which this week is Monochrome and is sponsored by Marianne Design

I have used the very gorgeous Socilate for this card, coloured with promarkers and added a bit of sparkle. Used some flowers that I think I have had for ever and added a few pearls. Papers are from Docrafts called Happy Days and a LOTV sentiment.

Why not pop on over and join in with the challenge and use a Kenny K image to be in with a chance of winning a great prize.

Have a great weekend :)

Found another challenge to enter this card in to, which I have only just found and very nice blog it is as well called Fussy and Fancy and the challenge is Pearls and Flowers

Less is More - One Layer Houses

My gosh what a long week, so glad it is the weekend.  Had a fabulous day yesterday at the NEC with one of my friends and thankfully didn't spend to much money.  Saw the marvelous Barbara Gray and the Create & Craft team and chatted to the very lovelly Michael Powell, love his images and didn't realise they started out as cross stitches.  Brought a couple of his stamps as I haven't managed to buy them from anywhere else.

Anyway on to this weeks Less is More challenge, one layer with a houses theme, not scared of these anymore, infact more and more of my cards are now just one layer. The very talanted Jen has stepped up to help Chrissie while Mandi continues the set up of her new business venture. Look forward to seeing lots of her fab creations :)
Used some kraft card that I treated myself to yesterday, not really used this card before so am stepping into new territory. Used white ink to create a bit of a snow and used Clarity stamps to make the rest of the scene.  Used a white gel pen and some diamond sticklers but can't really show the sparkle on the photo.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)
