Birthday Boy

Mades this card today instead of watching the football!

My youngest son is 9 in July so this card will be for him, think I will make a similar one for my nephew whos birthday is the day after my sons.

Image is another fab download from the Boy Oh Boy collection at Charmed Cards & Crafts. The papers I have had for a long time from Buzzcraft.

Art Deco Ladies

Made these cards for the girls at work.

I Love these Art Deco ladies from My Craft Studio cd Deco Follies.

This card was made using the coloured images and backgrounds on the cd. The images make a nice simple card matted with some blue mirror card with a flower and ribbon from my stash.

This card is my first attempt at actually colouring one of the images using Promarker's and Copic's. Papers are Kate Knight and were free with Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.

No Designer Papers

Ok I know I am a little late as this was last weeks challenge, no clue where the week has gone! Anyway the challenge last week at Dottie's World was to make a card using no designer papers.

This WAS a challenge for me as I have never attempted anything like this before as I usually just head straight to my stash of ready designed papers. So thank you for the challenge.

Here is my CardUsed a stencil I found to make the flowery background with yellow and orange ink and added some sparkly gems. Used a poem I found on the internet. The image is from the Sugar and Spice collection at Charmed Cards & Crafts and coloured with Promarker's. Flowers are from WHSmith.

Father's Day again

Ok am very new to this so please go easy on me :)

Have already posted this card once on here but wasn't sure if it needed to be posted seperatly for the challenge Made this card for my boys to give their dad for his birthday but could be used for Father's Day also. Coloured with Copic's and Promarkers, which I am still trying to master.

Made this card for my dad last year for Father's Day using water colour pencils, papers from DCWV travel stack. Not made his card for this year yet!

New to Blogging

Well that was a little easier than I expected! Have never done blogging before, but wanted somewhere to show my cards that I have been making. Still very new to this and don't know how much time I will get to be able to keep a blog going.

I am on the constant look out for inspiration for male cards, having 3 boys of my own, 7 nephews, a brother, uncle, brother-in-law, etc I end up having to make a lot of boy themed cards. Was absolutely brilliant when Charmed Cards & Crafts brought out Mikey, he was a life saver (could do with Mikey on a skateboard, drums & computer though :)) Card I made for my middle son's 13th birthday last year.

Am hoping now that I have eventually got this blog going to take part in the Charmed Digi Download Challenge over at Dotties World.

Father's Day

Made this card for my boys to give their dad on his Birthday, which is 2 days before Father's Day. I did tell them there was no way I was making them a card each for his birthday and Father's Day! ( I have 3 boys). Used image from Charmed Cards & Crafts, papers were a free download from Crafters Companion.

I did however make them a card each for Father's Day.....
