Kenny K - Lace & Pearls

Where are the weeks going, it's now March and have got my mothers 70th birthday coming up next week and have complete card makers block on what to make her for a special card.  Have made her a bouquet of white roses and tea light holders as she is having a big party and need to make her a happy birthday banner, gosh starting to panic just typing this out.

 

So lets get on to Kenny K challenge this week which is lace and pearls.

Have used one of my favourite images Kitty and coloured her with promarkers and then added lots of pearls and lace and some flowers from my stash.

Kenny K - Layer it up

Brrr what a cold morning, no frost mind but it does keep trying to snow.

This week at Kenny K see's the release of 3 new digis and oh boy I couldn't resist colouring them in and joining in with Team B this week.

I used 2 of the new images Col.McCallan & Page Parasol and coloured with promarkers.  The challenge for this week is layers so think I went a bit over the top with all the layered pieces behind the images hehe, but I so enjoyed colouring her in.

Wednesday again, roll on the weekend and a long one at that.  Youngest son went off to PGL today with the school until Friday, house is feeling a little strange with out him around.  He was so excited about going and I know he is going to have a fab time but I will be glad when he is back.

This weeks I ♥ Promarkers challenge is to Use a Digi and this fabby image is from Bugaboo. Coloured her with Promarkers and the sentiment stamp is from Papermania and also coloured with Promarkers.

The papers are from DCWV and used my die cutter to make the flag and present.

I ♥ Promarkers - Anything goes

It's Wednesday again, 2 more days until the weekend - woohoo.  Looking forward to a quiet one and some crafting :)

Managed to get some time to do some blog catching up and this weeks I ♥ Promarkers challenge is anything goes, so had a bit of a mooch through my cards as I have photos of  lots of cards I haven't managed to blog.

This card I made for one of my nephews and used images from bugaboo coloured with Promarkers.  Paper is just plain card and used an embossing folder on the one piece and added a few stars and thats about it.

I ♥ Promarkers - Time

Have been trying to blog this all weekend, what with one thing and another just haven't had chance.

Anyway this weeks challenge at I ♥ Promarkers is Time. I have been making tags this week so thought I would make a time themed one for the challenge.
The image is a Kenny K and coloured with promarkers and I used clock stamps from Cart Us to make the back ground.

I can not believe the weekend is nearly over, hope everyone has had a good one and thanks for popping by :)

I ♥ Promarkers - Pink & Purple

Well I am trying to have a go at using stamps that have not yet seen an ink pad and stamped up this beauty from LOTV the other day and coloured her in with promarkers, and lucky for me it fits in with the I ♥ Promarkers challenge which this week is Pink & Purple.
The paper is from Forever Friends and used various dies for flowers and leaves. Added lots of glitter to the image and did do a bit of shading with my prismas.

I ♥ Promarkers - Anything Goes

Good evening bloggers, hope you are all having a fab week. The weekend is nearly here, although I am working Saturday so not much of a weekend for me.

Thought I would have a go at the I ♥ Promarkers challenge this week, which is anything goes. Never seem to manage this challenge these days, but as I had already got this card made I thought I would enter it :)
Used a gorgeous image from LOTV, that my lovely blogging friend Rosie sent me :) and coloured her with Promarkers. The sentiment is also LOTV and papers are from a Foreverfriends pack with a bit of stitching around the edges. Added some flowers and metal charms and a bit of bling.

I ♥ Promarkers - Buttons & Lace

This is a very quick post before I head off to bed, but wanted to have a go at the I ♥ Promarkers challenge, which is to use buttons & lace.
Have had this Joanna Sheen stamp for a while now and this is the first time it has been inked up, was really unsure how to colour this one and think the apples are a little red, but only have the one red in promarkers and then after colouring it had no clue what papers to put with it, so went with some freebie paper I found called picnic in the park, the buttons are from the same paper stack and tied the lace into a bow.

I ♥ Promarkers - Anything goes

Well it seems like forever since I last made a post. Hope everyone had a fab Christmas and New Year. We took the tree down today, the house is now back to normal and it's back to work tomorrow - Boo.

Thought I would join in with the I ♥ Promarkers challenge, think it's been running for 2 weeks and actually closes tomorrow - oh well better late than never hehe
Used one of the gorgeous stamps from LOTV - still have a few of these that I haven't inked up yet......tsk tsk.......and coloured him with promarkers. Paper I have had for years and added a few punched snowflakes and a couple of flowers.

Hopefully now all the festivities are out of the way I can get back to some proper blogging and join in a few more challenges. Happy crafting :) xx

I ♥ Promarkers - Christmas Tree

Back again, on a bit of a roll today. Thought I would have a quick go at the I ♥ Promarkers challenge, which this week is Christmas Trees.
Have had this stamp forever and used to make Christmas cards when I first started crafting. Have had a bit of a play with it using different embossing powders and liked thisone the best, which is embossed with silver and has a bit of sparkle. Have used Clarity silk card to stamp the image and then used promarkers in different shades of purple. Layered the image on some purple and silver card, the word vellum is something else I have had for ever and not even sure where it came from. Think I might make a few more of these. :)

I ♥ Promarkers - Follow That Sketch

Haven't entered an I ♥ Promarkers challenge for ages, but made an effort to have a go at this one this week as it's a fabby sketch.
Brought a selection of Lilly of the Valley stamps when they were released back in July and this is the first time I have made a card with them, how bad is that. Have coloured her with promarkers and used some free papers from Cradmaking and Papercraft. Really enjoyed colouring this image so off to go ink up some more :)

I ♥ Promarkers - Sketch

Finally managed to get a card made for the I ♥ Promarkers challenge. This week they have a fantastic sketch to follow and thought this would be perfect to use for my son's birthday card.
Have used one of my new stamps from LOTV (had a bit of a spending spree over there) and coloured him with promarkers. Papers are from Serif and I think they came free with a magazine and a ticket from Tim Holtz.

Anything Goes

Made this card for a friend at work and fortunately this week at I ♥ Promarkers the challenge is Anything Goes.
The image is from Charmed Cards and coloured with Promarkers, the papers are from Dovecraft Eastern Promise and used black and plum card and a gold pen. Punched out flowers and used liqued pearls for the centres.

Sparkly Bling

This week at I ♥ Promarkers the challenge is sparkly bling, which I just love, but I didn't put as much on this card as I thought I would, those CAS cards are slowly getting to me hehe.
The image is from Crafts & Me, which I have wanted to use for a while now after watching a tutorial by Dana but she used prisma pencils to colour the image. I thought I would try it with promarkers. Think it's worked pretty well, going to try it in shades of red next stayed safe with the golds hehe. Her skin I'm afraid is copics, have tried and tried with promarkers and just don't think I have the right colours and then after seeing a list of pens Vixykins used to colour skin on her gorgeous card I knew I wasn't using the right colours so I am now waiting for a delivery of some new promarkers :) Papers are from Paper Cellar, which have been stitched and then edged with glitter glue. Flower is from the Pound Shop and dies are MS. I also added some gold shimmer paint to her hair but I can't get that to show on the photo.

Flowers & Pearls

What a miserable day, done nothing but rain here today and am back at work tomorrow!

Oh well gave me a good excuse to sit crafting all day :) Finished cards for the kids to give their dad for his birthday. Need to find some challenges so I can blog them.

Also made a card for the Kenny K challenge, which is flowers and I ♥ Promarkers, which is to use pearls.

Used the very cool Club Kid from Kenny K and coloured her with promarkers then went to town with flowers, pearls, embosing, stamping, stitching - can you tell I have been making alot of clean & simple cards lately, making this was like being let loose on all my crafty stash! hehe

Forgot to say this is a 8x8 card which I love as you can make the image really big and add loads of embelishments.

Pink & Brown

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope blogger is more stable now and we can all get back to posting and commenting hehe

This week at I ♥ Promarkers the theme is Pink & Brown and what a fab combination this is, reminds me of chocolate and strawberry icecream.....yummy :)
Made ths card for a friend at work who is going in to hospital for a quick operation. Used a lovely image from LOTV, which my lovely blogging pal Rosie sent me and coloured her with promarkers and added a bit of glitter. Paper is from Country Companions and used MS punches and a Marianne swirl and added some liquid pearls. Flowers are from The Hobby House. I even did the inside to match.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, I am having to work Sunday so am going to lose some precious crafty time, oh well at least it will mean a day off some where else hehe :)

No Designer Papers

Well I didn't intend to use this card for the I ♥ Promarkers challenge, but Alison said it would fit in well as it is No Designer Papers this week.
I kept this card very clean and simple, and if you want to see more if this style check out the Less is More blog cause oh boy their cards are a challenge, well they are for me, hehe.

The image is from Mo and coloured with promarkers and just mounted on some dark blue card and the edge coloured with silver pen. I edged the main card with blue and silver pen and added some silver stars and the sentiment is from Butterfly Kisses and thats it.

Got a few days off now, so hoping to get a few cards made and a bit of blogging :)

Easter

This week at I ♥ Promarkers the challenge is Easter. I didn't really have any Easter images so popped over to Mo's and brought this little beauty this morning :) She is coloured with promarkers and cut out with a nestie. The paper I have no idea what it is as it was given to me by a friend ages ago. Made the ticket sentiment as I couldnt find anything that just said Happy Easter. Some of the flowers are from The Hobby House and others are from my stash. The charm is from Crafty Bitz. Hope you have all had a great weekend and managed to sit in the sun :) (Why can I not get blogger to put my text into paragraphs any more? Even editing the code makes no difference)

Kenny K, Dotty and a Sketch

Oh my gosh two posts in one night, I'm on fire hehe!! Started this card on Saturday for the I ♥ Promarkers (Go Dotty) and Friday Sketchers Challenge and somehow I managed to make it fit the Kenny K Challenge (use aquamarine) Used the fab Bling Baby from Kenny K and coloured her with promarkers, papers are from an old pack by 7gypsies, the ribbon was actually white but used my promarkers to colour it to match her trousers, MS punch and LOTV sentiment and label. Made this card for a friend at work and didn't think I would use any of my new stash I brought on Friday from the NEC, but I used my new Tim Holtz destress ink, Broken China for the edges added my new liquid pearls for her beads and on her glasses and all the flowers are new oh and the actual card is a from a new pack of 8 x 8 cards which I just love :) Hope you like her :)

Babies & A Sketch

This week at I ♥ Promarkers the theme is babies. Have had this image for ages from Charmed Cards & Crafts. Got a little frustrated trying to colour her hair so ended up paper piecing it and used promarkers to add the shading. The babies blanket is also paper pieced again shading with promarkers.

Followed another great sketch from Friday Sketchers and used papers from Paper Cellar. Machine stitched all the layers and decided to add some beads which I have seen the fabulous Alison do many times on her cards. My only problem was I couldn't find a needle slim enough to thread the beads so had to keep taking off the needle adding the bead and then re threading the needle so only did one corner! Added some hand made flowers and some glittered Marianne dies :)
