Kenny K - Layer it up

Brrr what a cold morning, no frost mind but it does keep trying to snow.

This week at Kenny K see's the release of 3 new digis and oh boy I couldn't resist colouring them in and joining in with Team B this week.
I used 2 of the new images Col.McCallan & Page Parasol and coloured with promarkers.  The challenge for this week is layers so think I went a bit over the top with all the layered pieces behind the images hehe, but I so enjoyed colouring her in.

Do go and check out the rest of the DT cards and starting this week Kenny and his wife Elena will be picking a spotlight card of the week and they will receive a free digi of their choice.  Don't forget there are also 2 winners each week who will receive $20 voucher for Kenny K and Bearly Mine Designs are giving away a £10 voucher.  Oh and I nearly forgot also starting this week the DT get to choose a TOP 3!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday :)

Kenny K - Circles

It's another lovely fresh morning and looks like the sun could make an appearance again today.

This weeks Kenny K challenge is circles and I have wanted to use this lovely girl fish image for ages.

Created a background by sponging blue ink from a big and juicy and cut out some seaweed on my cameo the little crab I have had forever and finally found somewhere to use it.  Everything is coloured with promarkers and added some more bubbles and sentiments in circles.

Do pop over to Kenny K's and check out the rest of the DT's cards and why not have a go yourself and be in with a chance to win some Kenny K images or a $20 gift certifcate to spend in Flonzcraft

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday :)

Less is More - Up in the Air

Been a little hectic of late with work and family and don't feel like I have had much time do make cards never mind do any blogging.

Actually starting to feel like spring today and am itching to start work on the garden, even got the washing out on the line.

Anyway this weeks Less is More challenge is Up in the Air so thought I would get my trusty Clarity balloon stamps out.
The landscape stamp is from Stamp Addicts and used Adirondack inks to colour it in.  The Clarity balloon is coloured with a big & juicy ink, not sure where the sentiment stamp is from, probably a freebie with a magazine hehe.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and thank you for stopping by :)

A quiet Sunday

Well it's Sunday again and already February, where are the weeks going?!!?

Thought I would make some cards using images I had already coloured due to the fact my daylight bulb blew on my lamp the other day, its like crafting in twilight have even struggled matching paper have to keep going outside to compare colours lol.
I actually coloured this image for another challenge the other week and never got round to finishing it off.  Papers are from Prima and V & A.  Image is from Kenny K and coloured with Promarkers, ribbon and lace from the stash.

Entering this card in to a few challenges:
 Live & Love Crafts (Sketch)
Simon Says (anything goes)
Sweet Stampin (Love is all around)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend, and thank you for stopping by :)

Kenny K - Flowers & Hearts

Time for another Kenny K challenge which this week is hearts and flowers.
Used the very cute Delores D'ammage, love colouring her in pink and tried to keep the layers and embellishments to a minimum.  Hmm easier said than done although didn't put all the flowers on I had picked out hehe

Do pop over to Kenny K and see what the rest of the design team have created and why not join in as well :)

Less is More - Kraft & Kream

Woohoo Less is More is 2 years old!! and what an amazing 2 years, fantastic challenges and inspiration.  This blog is my first port of call on a Saturday morning to see what new challenge awaits.  This week is Kraft & Kreme.
Used my trusty silhouette to cut the Kraft card and mounted it on a cream base card. The sentiment is part of a new set from Sheena Douglas.  Added a bit of ribbon and a few punched hearts.

Hope everyone is having a fab weekend, been lovely and sunny here, but a bit chilly still.

Thank you for popping by :)
