Less is More - Birds

Well it's Saturday again and time for another Less is More challenge, which this week is one layer with the theme Birds. Me and one layer really don't get on and I don't have any birdie stamps apart from some Clarity silhouette ones, which I may have to dig out and have another go at this challenge as I really don't like this card. Used a stamp from a Popcorn collection, which I haven't used before and coloured it with Prismas. Really don't like the colours I have used and didnt want to leave it so the image looked like it was floating on the card so used a die to create a border. Hmmm back to the drawing board I think with this one!

NB: Is blogger playing up? Can't get on some peoples blogs, it's like they are frozen and can't scroll up or down or click on anything!!

Hola Suzilou, i'm glad to see you :D,
i don't understand why you don't like your card, is a really delicious and so sweet card, and the colouring is beautiful, it's a gorgeouse card Suzi, well done.:D
Happy new year from Palma

Suzilou I love this and I think the colours are great, the only thing I would change if I made it again (which I never do lol!) would be to have the sentiment below, and not across the embossing. The frame is great for not having it floating though, good idea.

It's a great card! I'm having trouble leaving comments and blogs freezing, so you're not alone!

Hi hun

I have put an explanation on my blog as to why blogger isnt playing nicely. Its making it impossible to leave comments.

There is a fix on my blog, but yours is working fine, so you dont have to do anything, its just everyone else who has embedded comments needs to change their settings.

I think this is a sweet card hun, cute image and lovely colours. It probably looks different from what you imagined in your head thats all, but its a really cute card - trust me! ;)

Really cute image! You are probably your own worst critic as I think it's a great card. I think I'd have put the sentiment below as that die works fabulously as a frame. I really like the pale background too.

Hi Suzi
I think you are being hard on yourself! Maybe if the sentiment had been inside the frame it would be better? that's all I could say Id change

Many thanks

Having read the other comments Suzilou, I have to concur as I think that you're probably not too keen on this because of the sentiment...
It is not happy bisecting the embossed frame, and I think that is because you added the frame later.
You will however, know what you want to do next time.
Thanks so much

You're being too hard on yourself, its such a cute image but I'd agree with the others and have the sentiment inside the frame.
Have had trouble with some blogs both from the home computer and the work computer, think someone has given the answer above but its all double dutch to me :)

This is sweet Suzilou. Have to agree with the others that maybe its the sentiment thats in the wrong place. I'm like you too, never know when to leave alone.
It will be interesting to see it if you try again.
Blog problems too!
Love Sheila x

Yes . . . I've been having trouble with some blogs freezing on me and making it impossible to comment on too.

Shame you aren't pleased with your card. I think it's sweet! xxx

I love the way the colouring is framed makes for a great CAS card. The only thing I would change would be the placement of the sentiment.
