Less is More - One Layer

Well it's Saturday again and time for another Less is More challenge which this week is one layer.  Now these don't scare quiet as much as they used to but I still struggled as what to do.  I did originaly start doing some stamping and embossing but it wasn't doing much for me.

Ended up just using an embossing folder and added a bit of stamping, think it would look better with a ribbon and a bow but as it's one layer dont think they would be allowed hehe.
Hope everyone is having a fab weekend and haven't got to wet or blown away, have had to put the heating on again today, can't believe it is June!

Thanks for popping by :)

I thought about using that folder as well. Great card - very effective as it is. The flourish on the L is great!
Thanks for the good wishes on the weather- we've had a glorious weekend- with cold nights and lovely crisp sunny days leading us gently into winter.

this is one of my fave embossing folders - and this is just a great card. You're like me, I always want to add something but think it looks just fine without the ribbon too!
