Suzilou's Blog Spot: Less is More

Another great challenge over at Simply Less is More this week. I like monochrome so thought I would find this a bit easier, but no, trying to make it clean and simple is soooo difficult. Nearly killed me not to add some pearls and ribbon to this card and I am still finding stamping a challenge.

Used a stamp from Butterfly Kisses, that my lovely friend brought me from the NEC. This is the first time I have used it and I must have stamped it god knows how many times to try and get a perfect impression and this one still isn't quiet right. It's mounted on some dark blue card and I added a clear circle sticker over the compass. Did some embossed lines around the edge of the card and stamped the sentiments directly onto the card (Eeeek) lol

Brilliant image, and it works so well inked in that colour.

I think you've done a great job with the stamping here! I agree with stamping sentimens directly on to the card front it i scary! I just think if I muck it up I will stamp sentiment onto a piece of card and stick it over the top - kinda helps with the nerves - LOL!
