Lavender & Lace

This week at I ♥ Promarkers the challenge is Lavender & Lace. Haven't got much lace and the piece I decided to use must be the hardest piece to stick and to stick on to!! Pinflair glue came into it's own on this card although I did get into a bit of a mess with it.
Followed another great sketch at Friday Sketchers and the image is from Sarah Kay and this is the first time I have used it on a card. Coloured with promarkers, but I did use Tim Holts distress ink to colour his dungarees, first time I have used that method and pretty pleased with the result. Paper was a freebie with a magazine, butterfly punch - MS and LOTV sentiment.

Had a fab time last week visiting everybody who had entered the I ♥ Promarkers challenge, had some fab new people join my blog, which I really appreciate, so off now to do some blog hopping :)

Hi Suzilou, and I do like this image & you have coloured it beautifully too. Having the butterfly alighting the lace is a lovely finishing touch. Thanks for joining us at I ♥ Promarkers.

Gorgeous Suzilou! :) I love this image, and you have coloured it brilliantly. I would love to try colouring with distress inks too - but I think I need a bit more in my collection than Brushed Corduroy and Walnut! :D lol

Great details with the embossing, flowers and lace - but I had to laugh at the gluey stuff!.. Try anchoring it with a few stitches next time or even white brads? ;) much less messy.

this is so pretty, the colours you have chosen are gorgeous.. brilliant card.

my cards are either 6x6 or 7x7 inches and i make my own hun... it is just easier that way as you can make any style card you like. I usually use 300gsm or 330gsm card, so they are a nice quality..
