Anything Goes
Not really had chance to enter many challenges over the last few weeks, but I made this card last week for my son to give to his friend last Saturday for her Birthday as it happens he ended up not going to the party as we were hit with 10 inches of snow. Hopefully we will be able to drop it round if this snow ever clears!! This week at I ♥ Promarkers the challenge is for Anything Goes. Have used my new stamp from LOTV called Rosie with Presents and coloured her with promarkers. The senitment is also from LOTV. Not sure what the backing paper is as I have had it for ages.
Wishing everyone a fantastic Christmas and New Year and looking forward to entering lots of new challenges in 2011 :)
Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment as I love reading them :)

WOYWW 80
Anyway here is my desk for today, I did actually give it a bit of a tidy yesterday so it's not looking to bad at the moment.
I finished making the box the other day so wanted to show you that and used my new Whiff of Joy, Fancy shape on it, which I am loving and using where ever I can hehe. I am in the middle of finishing off a new baby card for someone at work and I had some new stash arrive today. Orderd the Forever Friends Black and Gold cd ages ago from Create & Craft, which finally arrived today. And LOTV sent me an email yesterday advertising their new stamps coming out in January and as I was a little bored at work had a quick look round at some of their other stamps and ended up ordering For You Circular Sentiments stamps, Calendar Stamp and Rosie with Presents stamp and can't believe they came today! Thats what I call a service hehe.
Off to make a card now for my son to give to his friend on Saturday for her birthday, think I will use my new Rosie with Presents :)
I will probably be bored again tomorrow at work so will come looking at everyones work desk. Have fun and enjoy the rest of your evening.

A Christmas Carol
Have used memento ink to stamp the image onto Neenah Classic card and coloured with promarkers. Glittered the image up with diamond sparkles. Used my fab new die 'Fancy Shape' from Whiff of Joy and stamped it with one of their season's greetings. Papers are by Papermania, which Osbornes were selling off so brought two packets :) Punched out the flower, leaves and snowflakes and added a bit of sparkle and a couple of gems.

I used Mrs Claus for this card (she was one of my freebies for winning the challenge the other week - hehe). Sparkled her up with some glitter and mounted her on black and silver mirror card. The backing paper is from the Mono Paper Pack from Papermania and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, which I sprayed with a bit more glitter :)

WOYWW - 77 or is it 78
I did manage to make some labels though for jars of sweets for my sons Christmas Fair and my lovelly mother brought me some bunches of flowers from the pound shop (which I did wonder how the hell am I going to use these!!) and then realised that they worked wonders if you take them apart and now I have hundreds of flowers hehe.
Have also been experimenting with boxes as I love buying jewellery as gifts but can never find nice boxes to present them in, so had best get on and finish at least one!
Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday (I know not much of it left), will have to try and visit some of your fab workspaces during my lunch break at work wont get any crafting done at all if I start blog hopping now hehe

Snowmen & A Sketch
I used the fantastic sketch over at Friday Sketchers, coloured Dottie and her snowman in with promarkers (used a white glitter on the snowman - makes him look fluffy in RL hehe) The papers are from Nitwits, but were free with a magazine :)
Am also going to enter this card into the 2 Sisters Challenge.
Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment as I love reading them :)
Red Challenge
Anyway wasn't sure what image to use for this challenge, I knew I wanted to use a Charmed image but which one. I ended up downloading their new collection called Santa's Little Helpers and I'm really glad I did as they are all just gorgeous. I used All Wrapped Up and coloured her with promarkers and then got stuck with what papers to use, I just couldn't get anything to work. I ended up just putting her in the middle of a blank white card in frustration to look at it later and thought that works! So ended up going all white :) Hope you like her.
Am also going to enter this card into the Creative Inspirations Challenge as they want anything Christmassy/Winter :)
Thank you for stopping by and dont forget to leave a comment as I love reading them :

Icy Colours and A Sketch
Dug out a really old stamp for this card, which I brought years ago when I first took an interest in card making, but was never able to stamp it up properly until now. I love using digital images but there are so many beautifull stamps out there, which I have recently been buying, and through trial and error i can now, fingers crossed, get these stamps to work for me. I must thank Rachel Jakes, who makes the most stunning cards, who uses Neenah Classic card and Memento Ink to stamp her images. So off I went to The Hobby House web site and purchased myself some of this card and all I can say is WOW, it work wonders, soooo I have been having ago with all my stamps old and new :)
Anyway back to the card, snowflake paper was a freebie with a magazine, probably from last year and the sentiment is from TLC. Oh and the image is coloured with Promarkers :)
Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment as I love reading them :)

I found this kitten in my digi downloads folder and had no clue where I had got it from until I went over to check out the Friday Sketchers challenge and there it was! A free digi from Motivet. So I decided to use the image for the Friday sketch challenge.
This image reminded me of my little cat Molly when she was a kitten, have coloured her with promarkers and used Forever Friends papers.

Harry Potter from Bugaboo
This is the first time I have used Bugaboo images and they are truly wonderful. I love the simplicity of these drawings.
I wanted to keep this card very simple and make it all about the image ( I did have to get a bit of sparkle on it though hehe)
This image is called 'Chosen One' and I coloured him with promarkers and copics. I used some clear gloss finish on his glasses, which has creased the paper slightly tsk - haven't used it before - anyway this card will be going off to my nephew at the end of the month :)

That Summer Feeling
I love this image of Dottie and George getting married and have wanted to use the reverse of this image for a while. A work colleague had asked if I could make a card for her son to give to his brother on their wedding day (which was Saturday) so this is what I made............
Used the pre-coloured image from the Love & Marriage collection - papers were a freebie with a magazine. Sunburst image is from Istockphoto. Flowers, gems and ribbon from the stash, sentiment from TLC. Used acetate to cover the circle cut from the middle of the card.

Hot it Up!
I hope this is hot enoughUsed one of the fab images from Holy & Madison World Tour collection and used the paper piecing again from last week and coloured her with copics. Papers were a freebie with a scrapbooking magazine. Made a couple of quilled orange roses. Text is from Create with TLC (what a fantastic site that is) and added the must have sparkle. The orange roses have been glittered as well but i dont think it shows to well in the photo. (Have given my fella the challenge of taking photos of my cards and still show the sparkle!)
Thank you for yet another brill challenge. Am now off to look at this weeks challenge although i'm not sure I can do vintage, but I will give it ago.
