Less is More - Squares

Well have managed to do a bit of commenting, thanks to Denise, she suggested I use a different web browser as it seems blogger is not liking IE so have been using google chrome for commenting.

Have managed to get a card made today for the Less is More challenge, which is squares.
Dug out some really old stamps that I have actually never used!! After colouring them with copics I heat embossed the images a few times and then stuck them in the freezer so I could crack them and rubbed ink over the cracks. Have seen this done many times in magazines etc but never actually tried it before.

Hope everyone is having a fab weekend :)

I think this is lovely and maybe you will use these stamps again now.

Gorgeous!!! Love this technique and love the card. Glad you have been able to do some commenting. Have you also found that Chrome is a lot quicker than IE? I did!! Hugs Denise xx

Fab card - love the images and the colours you've used.

I've had no trouble at all with bogger since I unchecked the "stay signed in" box on log in

Your card is super - and I like the broken glaze effect. Very stylish card!

I'm using IE9 - commenting is okay, but you need to untick the "stay signed in" box and all is fine - KathyK just told you this too!!

Hi Suzielou,
Our challenge this week is not so much 'squares' but which square section of the card you wish to choose to position your image... although to use squares for your image for this is fine too.
I got fed up with IE yonks ago and find Google chrome really easy (and faster) to use.
Lovely card with great images!
Thanks so much

Hi Suzilou :) So glad Mr Blogger is working again.

Love your LIM card - I too have heaps of gorgeous wooden stamps and stuff never used, and they look amazing when you use them.

So effective! I love your heat and freeze technique. I have tried crackle glaze too, and that works a treat.

Lovely colours and great images too.
